Halliburton Employees’ Federal Credit Union (HEFCU) is ready to help members living in FEMA-declared disaster areas. We know this is a difficult time, and we want to help ease the worry about money in this time of crisis.

Halliburton Employee’s Federal Credit Union’s Assistance Includes:
• Emergency Relief Loans
• Payment deferment on existing loans. Payment Extensions are not available for first mortgages, or home equity loans. Interest will accrue during the deferred payment period.
• Free express delivery of credit cards and debit cards
• Free box of checks to replace lost or damaged checks

Emergency Relief Loan Terms and Rates
• Up to $5,000
• Up to 48 months*
• 6% APR
• Payments can be deferred for 90 days. Interest will accrue during the deferred payment period.

Members requesting an Emergency Relief Loan will be limited to the following loan amounts and conditions:
• Up to $5,000 to cover evacuation expenses or related damages
• Must be a resident or own a property in an area that has been declared a state of emergency by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). To qualify for an Emergency Relief Loan, you must supply proof of homeownership or residential status. Accepted forms of documentation include driver’s license, real estate tax bill, mortgage statements, and insurance policy or bill.
• Must be a current HEFCU member-if you’re not a member, you must qualify for membership and open your account. Your HEFCU account must be in good standing: no delinquent or charged off loans and no overdrawn or charged off share accounts.
• Must apply within 45 days of the date that FEMA makes the declaration
• Automatic payment through a HEFCU checking account must be set up within 90 days, or the loan will revert to the prevailing Personal Loan rate
• One Emergency Relief Loan per residence
• Emergency Relief Loans cannot be used to refinance or consolidate existing loans
• Rates, terms and loan amounts are based on your creditworthiness; all loans are subject to approval
