  • Set your security questions and answers. The answers will need to be entered using the telephone number pad. Dates are two digits for month, two digits for day, and four digits for year.
    You will need to choose three (3) of the following challenge questions. The system will prompt you to set up your first question and answer, then your second question and answer – followed by third question and answer
  • the number of grandchildren you have press 3
  • the last four digits of your childhood phone number press 4
  • the age you were on your first date press 5
  • the number of pets you had before you were ten press 6
  • the numeric street address of your childhood home press 7

Personalized Message – you can create (1) a personalized message or your name or choose from a prerecorded list (2)

    Enter your X to X digit PIN code (needs to be different from your first time use PIN. This is the PIN you will use in the future to access your account.)

Home Banking

Home Banking– This FREE service allows you to have 24 hour a day Internet account access to your account. You can retrieve up to the minute balance information, view your transaction history, transfer between accounts and download your account information. Don’t forget to check out the account alerts section of your Home Banking to prevent account fraud! HEFCU has many security measures in place to protect your account, including the ability for you to personalize your account alerts and help monitor your account!

Bill Pay allows you to pay your bills electronically through a personal computer, rather than manually writing and mailing checks. You can schedule one-time or recurring payments to payees of your choice. Payments are deducted from your share draft account and appear itemized on your monthly CU statement. Register for Bill Pay by selecting Pay Bills when you are logged into Home Banking.

E-Statements – Go Green by signing up for E-Statements! This FREE product is a great way to decrease your carbon footprint and get your statements even faster than before. What a great benefit! Sign up today!

ATM/Debit Card

ATM/Debit Card – You can use your HEFCU Debit Card 24 hours a day to access your account at any ATM location. You can also use it instead of cash, credit, or writing a check wherever Visa is accepted. The amount of purchase is simply deducted from your share draft account.
A HEFCU ATM card gives you instant access to your accounts at more locations worldwide. Get cash, check your balance and transfer funds 24 hours a day!

Debit Card Safety – With limitless ways to use your debit card, you need limitless peace of mind. HEFCU offers SHAZAM Bolt$. An app that gives you the ability to monitor your debit card and to set up transaction alerts to be sent to you based on your standards for when your card is used. Use HEFCU Bill Pay to make paying bills better, easier and more convenient than ever, giving you more freedom to enjoy life.

HEFCU Bill Pay makes paying bills, paying persons or making transfers easier than ever before.

  • If you need to add a new payee, just select the “Add a Payee” button at the top of your dashboard.

Wire Transfers – This service allows you to send money from one bank to bank within the United States and Internationally. HEFCU offers domestic Western Union Wires at all four locations. Fees depend upon location and dollar amount. Western Union services are available for members only.

EFFECTIVE 10-14-13, HEFCU will no longer be able to offer the International Western Union Wire service. Domestic Western Union wires and Bank to Bank International wires services will remain available.

Direct Deposit – Have your paycheck, Social Security check, or other recurring retirement check automatically deposited to your checking account.

Visa Updater Service

Attention Visa Cardholder,

Providing you with important information about your account with Halliburton Employees’ Federal Credit Union is a high priority. This information is to let you know that Visa® recently introduced the Visa Account Updater (VAU) service as a convenience for Visa cardholders. While this is a convenient service, Visa requires we participate and we’ll begin submitting card updates to them as applicable when your debit/check or credit card information changes.

How VAU works

VAU extends the amount of time your account-on-file information is stored with your selected merchants by automatically updating your debit/check or credit card information due to account changes, like the expiration date.

For example, let’s say you’ve enrolled in recurring monthly payments to pay your electric bill with your debit/ check or credit card. As you know, we periodically replace your card, and your new card has a fresh expiration date. Instead of contacting the electric company to update your card information, your card information will automatically be updated, if your electric company is a participating merchant.

Sending debit/check or credit card information

Your updated card information, as applicable, is being sent to Visa. Visa will securely store your debit/check or credit card information and release the new information to financial institutions and participating merchants in order to process your requested transactions without interruption.

Opting out
