This FREE service allows you to have 24 hour a day Internet access to your account. You can retrieve up to the minute balance information, view your transaction history, transfer between accounts and download your account information. Don’t forget to check out the account alerts section of your Home Banking to prevent account fraud! HEFCU has many security measures in place to protect your account, including the ability for you to personalize your account alerts and help monitor your account!


BILL PAY


It allows you to pay your bills electronically through a personal computer, rather than manually writing and mailing checks. You can schedule one-time or recurring payments to payees of your choice. Payments are deducted from your share draft account and appear itemized on your monthly CU statement. Register for Bill Pay by selecting Pay Bills when you are logged into Home Banking.

ATM/DEBIT Card

 

You can use your HEFCU Debit Card 24 hours a day to access your account at any ATM location. You can also use it instead of cash, credit, or writing a check wherever Visa is accepted. The amount of purchase is simply deducted from your share draft account. A HEFCU ATM card gives you instant access to your accounts at more locations worldwide. Get cash, check your balance and transfer funds 24 hours a day!


Text fraud Alerts

Keeping your account safe and secure is our highest priority. As part of our Debit Card protection program you will receive text alert when suspicious activity is detected on your HEFCU debit card. If you receive a “fraud alert” reply Yes or No to confirm or deny the activity. If you reply No (the activity is fraudulent) you will quickly receive a follow up text to let you know that a Shazam fraud specialist will call you soon to help protect your account. We will also automatically block your debit card to prevent any additional fraudulent activity. If you reply Yes (the activity was legitimate), you can continue to use your debit card as normal. If you don’t reply to the text, or your phone number is not a mobile number, we will attempt to reach you via automated voice call.

REMOTE DEPOSIT

 

With Remote Deposit you can deposit checks directly into your checking account right from your phone or mobile device! Just take a picture of the front and back of the check, enter in some requested information and the funds are deposited right away!

HEFCU offers domestic, international, and domestic Western Union Wires at all three locations. Fees depend upon location and dollar amount. Wire services are available for members only.

Direct Deposit is a safe, fast and reliable way to have your paycheck, Social Security check, or other recurring checks automatically deposited to your checking account.
